About The Role As a Sterilisation Technician, you’ll play a vital role in infection prevention by ensuring all reusable medical instruments are cleaned, sterilised and ready for use. Your daily work will involve: Working in both the Central Sterilising Department and operating theatresProcessing surgical instruments and endoscopes to the highest standardCollaborating closely with theatre and sterilisation teams to maintain safe and efficient workflowsParticipating in a rotating roster including weekends and public holidaysEngaging in professional development, with support to attend workshops and conferences relevant to the role This is a physically demanding position that directly supports the safety of patients and staff.
