Enjoy a role where you'll return home each evening and sleep in your own bed Join a mine about a 3 min. drive from the local town (of over 7,000 people) A range of schools, sports & recreational facilities, health care facilities and Be welcomed into a cultural, family friendly and close-knit community Relocation costs and transfer housing provided (for those looking to join the mine permanently) The Role Reporting to the maintenance supervisor on your crew you will enjoy working in a close knit team of mobile plant maintenance trades people and be responsible for the following duties;- Workshop - servicing, preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, major component change outs, general repairs, fault finding & diagnostics (enjor wokring in an enclosed air-conditioned workshop) Field (when competent) - breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics Machinery - UG mining trucks, boggers, drills, IT's, charge up equipment, spraymechs The Roster 7 days on 7 days off Mostly day shifts with a swing of nights every 3 rd swing Wednesday to Tuesday roster pattern 12-hour shifts Your Value You will come from a trade qualification in diesel mechanics or light vehicle mechanics, backed with the following skills and attributes;- UG hard rock mining experience All round abilities in the workshop and field A keen eagerness to learn and forward your skills in the mining sector Ability to work in a team and autonomously An excellent attitude towards work Safety first mentality The Opportunity This is a great opportunity for someone with UG hard rock minig experience to continue their career on a DIDO 7:7 roster in Victoria;- DIDO with accommodation provided Healthy tax free allowance for meals and fuel Lifestyle friendly 7:7 roster Mostly dayshift only Training development and upskilling opportunities Join a well-connected team with a "family" orientated culture on site Long term jobs security working for the mine directly (for those keen to move to the books) Strong earning potential Opportunity for relocation for those keen on a residential role What's next?
