Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks. We're currently looking for a Mechanical Site Engineer to bolster our delivery team. You’ll be based out of Alkimos working on a major water infrastructure project. Key accountabilities for the position: Keep management advised of all quality, schedule and budget variances in a timely manner. Manage subordinate or other discipline resources to quality, schedule and budget requirements. Shop drawing review and disposition. Preparing project documents and reports. Managing with the mechanical subcontractors about the contract, planning, cost, QC and HSE. Creating and enforcing project quality plan. Data and document entry into various platforms. Reporting safety, health and quality issues to management. Prepare contract amendments, change order documentation, and claims documentation. Support proposal opportunities that are strategically aligned with your group Assist management as directed. Required Skills and Competencies You will have a tertiary education in Mechanical engineering You will have a solid foundation of site-based experience working on a range of mechanical packages.
