Exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader in Security services to manage a client portfolio Full time position based in Balcatta – Perth with great leadership support Work with an industry leader and an Employer of Choice About the role: MSS Security is looking for a Business Manager for a permanent full-time opportunity to manage the delivery of security services to customers within a portfolio of clients and provide customer service of the highest quality, which satisfies all existing and future customer needs. Reporting into the State Operations Manager, this role requires someone with the ability to contribute to growing revenue and managing operational effectiveness whilst providing leadership in managing and building high performing teams. Your duties in the role will include and not limited to: Client Relationship Management: Building strong, collaborative and positive relationships with client representatives. Responsibility for ensuring that any breaches or risks to client relationships are reported to senior organisational managers promptly, along with details of the issue Leadership and Management: First and second line management of a teams across several locations including performance management, attendance management, recruitment, coaching and mentoring Incident management: Ensuring your teams effectively manage incidents, including quality reporting through the correct channels and ensuring incident investigations are conducted in line with Company procedures Security Operations: Manage security operations across a portfolio of client sites and ensure all duties and audits are being conducted correctly – this includes reporting and investigation of breaches, communicating change of policy and proposal of risk mitigation strategies Profitability: Ensuring services are delivered in line with approved contract pricing, underlying rosters and service scope. Conducting regular reviews of operations to ensure models are efficient and innovative, preparing quotes for client services with support from the finance team Training and Compliance: Ensure teams are appropriately trained, licensed, and developed as necessary, maintain a training matrix for all sites and ensure training records are maintained Health, Safety and Environment : Monitor compliance with HSE and HR policies, conduct incident investigations as necessary and ensure that safety procedures are available, clearly communicated and updated as necessary on all client sites Reporting: Attending all meetings with site stakeholders including client representatives and site based employees (weekly, monthly, quarterly and adhoc as required) . Providing monthly and quarterly reports based on client and contractual requirements What we are looking for: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good level of computer literacy Demonstrated experience in managing multiple sites and resolving HR/IR issues in collaboration with the local People and Culture team Demonstrated experience of site-based security operations Experience of managing/supervising a large team Excellent understanding of roster management and contract management Sound financial acumen and capability to contribute to preparation of quotes and tender processes Competent in report writing and building and maintaining relationships with clients Current WA security licence desirable Must be willing to be reasonably available out of hours Full Drivers Licence How to apply MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
