Unite Construction is recruiting for a standout opportunity with a privately owned developer-builder renowned for delivering bespoke high-rise apartment buildings throughout South East Queensland. They are seeking a capable and detail-focused Finishing Foreman to join the delivery team on a new 20-storey residential tower currently under construction on the Gold Coast. The building includes over 100 premium apartments, that will offer a mix of lifestyle-focused amenities for its future residents. You’ll be joining at a pivotal stage as the structure nears completion and internal works commence. The role will see you lead the finishing trades through to practical completion, ensuring a clean, well-run site and a high-quality finish across apartments, lobbies, and shared spaces. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all finishing trades on-site, including plasterboard, tiling, cabinetry, flooring, painting, and fit-off Ensure high-quality standards are met across all apartments and common areas Coordinate and manage subcontractors to maintain program timelines Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily reports and progress updates Implement and uphold safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all personnel Key Skills/Qualifications Required: Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on high-rise or complex multi-residential projects Strong understanding of finishing sequences and attention to high-end detailing Excellent leadership and team management skills Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Relevant trade qualifications and certifications (e.g., white card) Salary: circa $160K - $180K super Further Benefits: Join a well-resourced and high-performing team Opportunity to work on a prestigious luxury apartment project with extensive rooftop amenities Solid future pipeline of work in the Gold Coast region Contact: Email: Jack.garrard@uniterecruitment.com.au Mobile: 0489019811 If you are interested in discussing the role further, please feel free to give Jack a call for more information.
