We’re looking for a dynamic Maintenance Planner to be responsible for planning and scheduling activities for our Roads, Bridges and Road Inventory assets. About The Team You will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities for our City’s Road, Road Inventory and Bridge assets and will develop maintenance work packages for efficient scheduling, assignment and execution of maintenance tasks. With an innovative solutions and continuous improvement perspective, you will develop short, medium and long-term plans in line with statutory regulations and the City’s risk tolerance. You will drive continuous improvement in maintenance performance including playing a key role in development of Road Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Footpath AI Development to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is completed on time. We're Looking For People Who Have Bachelor Degree of Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experienceExpert knowledge in maintenance management system, preferably SAP:SAP Training - PLM300 – Business Processes in Plant Maintenance (Desirable)SAP Training PLM305 – Managing Technical Objects (Desirable)SAP Training PLM310 – Preventative Maintenance Servicing (Desirable)Maintenance Planning and Scheduling courses (Desirable)Demonstrated competency to provide specialist advice relating to road, road inventory and bridge asset maintenance and planning, and scheduling the workDemonstrated experience with the development of maintenance plans and allocation of resourcesStrong leadership skills with the ability to effectively engage and communicate with asset custodians and maintenance teamsExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-motivation and demonstrated initiative, creativity, continuous improvement, and the ability to mentor and develop fellow team membersReliability and you constantly work towards achieving individual and team goalsHigh level knowledge of Council’s computer software systems, including ArcGIS preferably ESRI software, SAP, with high proficiency in Microsoft Office.
