About the Role As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will: Lead the assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans tailored to individual participant needs and goals. Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure supports are holistic, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive. Promote participant voice, dignity, choice, and control in all planning and delivery of services. Ensure all practices align with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and Child Safe Standards . Report concerns, significant changes in participant environments, and any instances of discrimination, exploitation, neglect, abuse or violence . Actively engage with management and team leaders regarding feedback, safety, workload, resource needs , and areas where you need additional support. Why Join? Who We’re Looking For: An NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner (or eligible for registration). Deep understanding of PBS frameworks , functional behaviour assessment (FBA), and evidence-based intervention strategies. Knowledge of NDIS behaviour support requirements , restrictive practices, and positive risk-taking. Strong written and verbal communication skills to complete clear, compliant reports and plans. Genuine commitment to child-safe and participant-first principles , including upholding rights and protecting from harm. Resilient, compassionate, and self-motivated—able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
