Job Description Follow blueprints or relies upon existing knowledge to carefully position parts to Be assembled according to operation sequence. Inspection of parts to ensure proper fit and finish. Mounts actuators on to valves. Thoroughly and accurately conducts required tests, completion of test and inspection reports. Ensure safety policies are followed per company standards. Wear proper PPE when working on machines Ensure safety guards are utilized when working on machines Ensure work area is clean daily Free of metal shavings Free of coolant on flooring Tools are kept in proper storage location Keep tools, inserts, bars, turning tools clean and in working condition Responsibilities and Essential Requirements Set up, align, cut and machine parts per drawing. Operates multiple manual machines; lathes, mills, drills, lapping equipment. Performs complex set ups and machines close tolerance work without supervision. Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, Coolant flow, depth and angle of cut. Verify conformance of part to drawing dimensions during machining. Able to use precision measuring tools. Inspect all finishes that are to be held to specification.
