Resourceful Recruitment are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong foundation in power system design and modelling to join a growing team delivering technically complex projects across the industrial, mining, and infrastructure sectors. What you’ll be doing: Design and model HV and LV power systems, including load flow, fault level, and protection studies Develop solutions for electrical infrastructure—substations, switchboards, control panels, instrumentation and more Apply your expertise in Safety in Design, machine safety, functional safety, and compliance with Australian and international standards Join clients on-site and in their project offices to support project delivery and commissioning activities Lead technical conversations with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Prepare proposals, technical reports, and project specifications as part of an agile, client-focused team Play a key role in mentoring, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives What you’ll bring: Degree in Electrical Engineering (Engineers Australia recognised) 3 years of relevant experience in electrical design and project delivery, ideally in an industrial context Technical knowledge of HV/LV systems, protection schemes, switchgear, and instrumentation Proficiency with design tools such as ETAP or PowerTools, and experience reading and producing electrical drawings Excellent communication skills, strong documentation abilities, and a drive to deliver quality engineering outcomes A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a desire to contribute to a growing, values-led team Benefits: Work alongside passionate, down-to-earth professionals in a supportive environment Opportunity to work across a mix of design, project delivery, and direct client engagement Support to attain Chartered Engineer and RPEQ status within two years (If required) Join a consultancy where your technical talent and initiative are genuinely welcomed.
