About the Role We are seeking a strategic, solutions-focussed leader with a background in systems delivery, integrated planning, and large-scale project environments. This is a pivotal opportunity to lead the Project Management Office (PMO) for a national organisation undergoing significant transformation across technology, operations, and strategic planning. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of PMO will oversee a small but capable team, including an IT Manager and Project professionals across two states. You’ll play a key leadership role in driving project delivery, uplifting systems maturity, and embedding long-term strategic planning across the enterprise. Responsibilities Technology & Systems Implementation: Oversee major systems rollouts, including a Freight Management System and future implementations across maintenance, finance, and cyber security infrastructure. Project Oversight & Asset Planning: Provide high-level governance across project activities, including strategic fleet planning, safety reviews, cost analysis, and integration of capital assets. Strategic Leadership: Lead the organisation’s annual strategic planning process, guiding the executive team and delivering insights and frameworks to the Board. Skills and Experience Required Demonstrated experience in logistics, asset-heavy or industrial environments. Background in consulting or senior project leadership roles within high-value, complex businesses. Exposure to enterprise systems and IT project delivery. Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills. A strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to lead change and continuous improvement initiatives.
