About the Role As the WHS specialist, you’ll work closely with our Head of HR to lead and coordinate our work health and safety (WHS) programs. This part-time role (3 days per week) involves providing essential support to our clients and team members, focusing on injury management, compliance, and safety training. What You’ll Do Put together a WHS framework and set up reporting processes. Support Hosts and employees on WHS matters and injury management. Manage compliance and reporting for incidents and claims. Act as the main contact for WHS inquiries, ensuring clear and accessible communication. Coordinate with stakeholders on return-to-work (RTW) processes and incident reporting. Maintain up-to-date records and training materials. Provide WHS training and foster a safe, supportive workplace. Skills and Experience Needed Cert IV in WHS and 3-5 years of WHS/OHS experience in Australia. Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and regulations. Experience with WHS systems (e.g., SolvSafety), MS Suite, and reporting tools. Excellent communication skills to simplify technical info for everyone. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Desirable Experience in the Aged Care/Disability sector or community services. Why Join Us?
