We’re now on the lookout for a reliable and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team and contribute to a smooth and satisfying dining experience for our patrons. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of quality. Monitor food stock and control waste to minimise costs. Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized kitchen environment in line with food safety regulations. Assist in planning and updating menus, including daily specials. Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service. Comply with all workplace health and safety standards and procedures. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff when required. Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a cook in a pub, bistro, or similar fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards. Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods. Good time management and teamwork skills. Trade qualifications are desirable but not essential. Availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as needed.
