The Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals across lunch and dinner services. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare, season, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with venue standards. Maintain kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to. Assist in the development of menus and daily specials with creativity and seasonal input. Monitor food stock levels, perform stocktakes, and coordinate orders to minimise waste. Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency and efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in line with WHS regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house and management teams to ensure smooth service delivery. Requirements: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen. Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (Food Safety Supervisor desirable). Strong work ethic, reliability, and a passion for quality food.
