We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Pattern Maker who also thrives in fit sessions and quality assurance processes. This is a rare opportunity to join a small, close-knit team and take full ownership of the technical development process, from sketch to pre-production, all under one roof at their beautiful Hawthorn East studio. Turn designer sketches into accurate patterns and tech packs Create in-house toiles and lead fit sessions Update specs and patterns based on fit feedback Liaise with offshore factories to ensure quality and consistency Oversee sample reviews from first fit to pre-shipment Manage care label approvals, fabric testing, and QA checks Handle minor in-house alterations and customer repairs Maintain fit samples and keep production timelines on track What do you need: 3 years’ experience in pattern making, fitting, and QA (preferably womenswear) Proficient in StyleCAD (or similar CAD software such as Gerber) Strong garment construction and fabric knowledge Confident creating and updating tech packs Clear communicator with offshore production teams Excel skills for managing specs and measurements Seamstress skills would be highly regarded A passion for quality and a love for fashion!
