We are now seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team and take the lead in creating memorable dining experiences. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and present meals to a high standard, following menu specifications and portion control guidelines. Oversee kitchen operations during service, ensuring efficiency and consistency in food quality. Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen in compliance with food safety and WHS standards. Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste. Assist in menu development, costing, and introducing new dishes or specials. Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Redcape's service standards. Qualifications & Experience: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working as a chef in a high-volume kitchen environment. Strong leadership, time management, and organisational skills. Passion for quality food and attention to detail in presentation. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required. Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.
