Great opportunity for an experienced Chef to join the growing kitchen team at Willoughby Hotel. The Hotel is a beloved heritage-listed venue located on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. Known for its classic charm, warm hospitality, and vibrant community atmosphere, the hotel features a modern Australian bistro, multiple bar areas, and versatile event spaces. It offers a relaxed yet refined dining and social experience, making it a local favourite for casual drinks, family meals, and celebrations. Applicants must have strong experience in busy kitchens, be capable with fast paced, high volume service, take pride in food presentation and be effective in a busy team environment. Key Requirements are: Train junior kitchen staff Hard working and organized, team player with positive attitude Ability to manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service Take pride in food presentation, always ensuring top quality Good communication skills (verbal and written) Food Hygiene compliance, knowledge and practices Availability for rotating roster across Mon to Sun. Job will require approx. 38 hrs per week. Completed Trade Qualification Qualifications required - Relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications Permanent Full Time role with $73000 - $80000 Salary (plus super).
