In this role, you will work in multidisciplinary teams across inpatient, community, and subspecialty settings. Our service is expanding to meet the needs of Melbourne’s western suburbs, maintaining a supportive environment with educational opportunities and a focus on workplace culture and staff wellbeing. Key responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, and evaluation in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Be accountable for your actions and seek guidance when necessary. Attend training and educational activities such as Grand Rounds and Colloquia. Support fellow registrars as needed. About you: To succeed, you should meet the following criteria: For local Graduates: Australian/NZ medical degree and evidence of qualifications. Full general Medical Registration with AHPRA or on the Competent Authority Pathway. Interest in Psychiatry, with at least one full rotation (8-10 weeks) in Psychiatry HMO experience. For International Medical Graduates: Primary qualification in medicine from an institution listed in IMED/FAIMER. Primary source verification with AMC. Passed AMC MCQ and Clinical exams. High English proficiency (e.g., IELTS >8). No recent breaks in practice per AHPRA standards. Application deadline: 11:59 PM on 2 June 2025.
