Bymount East State School are seeking applications for a Cleaner to join their school community on a permanent part-time basis, at 0.36 FTE and 27 hours per fortnight. Within This Role You Will Have The Opportunity To Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support. Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program. About Bymount East State School Bymount East State School is located in South West Queensland, 64 kilometres north of Roma on the Carnarvon Highway. The School was established in 1945 and serves a stable grazing and farming community. It is a Band 5 School offering a Preparatory Year - Year 6 Program. About The Role Responsibilities include: Cleaning and sanitising all surfaces in the classroom, office, buildings and toilets (including windows, desks, taps, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, cupboards, floors (sweep / vacuum).Cleaning and maintaining equipment.Hosing of concrete and paved surfaces.Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material between and/or surrounding buildings. Benefits 12.5% superannuation, and flexible work arrangements offered to suit morning or afternoon shifts (approx. 2.75 hours/day). About You We are looking for someone who is able to: Understand the work environment, learn quickly how to use and maintain cleaning equipment, materials and chemical supplies safely with limited supervision.
