We’re looking for a part-time Mental Health Clinician to join the Lismore Medicare Mental Health Centre team. You’ll deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions tailored to each person’s mental health needs and goals. This model allows for more frequent and flexible client contact, with in-reach (centre-based) services and access to on-site complementary supports as needed. Professional development and training opportunities provided Consulting rooms, activity space and resources On a day-to-day basis you will Work with all members of the team to develop a shared change plan clearly articulating each team member’s specific responsibilitiesConduct clinical assessments and collaboratively develop case formulations and treatment plans for people with moderate, severe, and complex mental health difficultiesConduct risk assessments and develop thorough and practical risk management plansDeliver individualised, evidence-based psychological interventionsProvide client-centred care to people, incorporating family and significant others where appropriate. Maintain up-to-date, high-quality, contemporaneous client records and comply with data collection standardsAttend case review meetings and participate in individual supervision, peer reflection and team meetings About you: Are you a professional, innovative, and caring clinician who thrives as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and enjoys working with a wide range of external stakeholders involved in providing health, mental health, and psychosocial services? We’re also looking for: Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing or other clinical discipline related to mental health.
