About Your New Role We are currently accepting applications for skilled and experienced Horticulturists and to work from various Depots across the City on a casual basis. Working across the City from Tugun to Pimpama, you will work as part of a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing parks, landscaped and recreational spaces within the City’s open space regions and road network. Planting, pruning, mulching, hedging, removing green waste, spraying herbicides/weed removal and operating equipment such as leaf blowers, chainsaws and pole saws. Demonstrate behaviours that contribute to a positive and successful team. Follow established work practices and consistently deliver high quality work. We're Looking For People Who Have Cert II in Horticulture/Conservation & Landcare Management/Arboriculture or similar or a minimum of 1 year industry experience.C Class Drivers Licence.General Construction Induction White Card.Flexibility to work from any depot.Be a team player with strong communication skills.A high level of motivation and initiative, with the ability to work unsupervised.The ability to work productively in a team environment and foster good relationships with other team members.Sound physical health to satisfactorily perform the physically demanding duties of the position.
