Our client, a leading Tier 2 builder, has been involved in some iconic projects here in WA. Having built a strong reputation based on previous performance, their portfolio and pipeline of work has diversified to include both private and government works, ranging from $1–$100 million. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team. About the Role Analyse architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and cost plans. Conduct site visits and liaise with clients, engineers, and consultants as required. Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing. Evaluate project risks and develop contingency plans. Prepare and present tender submissions. Maintain and update estimating databases and pricing systems. Assist in value engineering and design development reviews. Liaise with project managers and site teams to ensure smooth handover from tender to delivery. About You Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction estimating, preferably within the commercial sector. Proficiency in estimating software such as CostX or Buildsoft. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Western Australia.
