Key Areas of Responsibility 1. Creating and maintaining a uniquely Christian early learning environment. 2. Management, coordination and oversight of the early childhood service. 3. Provision of excellent leadership to the team. 4. Provision of quality education, care, respect and understanding of all children and families. 5. Development and implementation of relevant programs and activities as an integral part of the organisation e.g. Intergenerational Programs and Indigenous Scholarship. 6. Adherence to all legislative requirements. 7. Recruitment, retention and training of staff. 8. Day-to-day financial management of the service. Selection Criteria 1. Have a clear understanding and support for Christian education. 2. Have a genuine interest in the welfare of children and also in their social, spiritual and academic development. 3. Demonstrate the ability to coordinate a preschool or long day care centre. 4. Demonstrate commitment to the provision of high quality Christian education and care. 5. Have a highly developed understanding of relevant legislation and other government requirements which regulate the provision of care and education. 6. Have an understanding of and commitment to the National Quality Frameworks. 7. Ability to work as both a leader and member of a wider management team. 8. Demonstrate a high level of liaison, oral and written communication skills. 9. Have experience in managing a diverse team. 10. A minimum qualification of a Diploma of Early Childhood and Care (or equivalent). Early Childhood Teachers are encouraged to apply. 11. Current First Aid Certificate. 12. Current NSW Working With Children's Check (WWCC) 13. Reference from a Church Pastor or Minister.
