Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice Benefits Bedford Park SA, 5042 Full Time, Contracted Role up to 12 months About the role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Officer (TGO1) to join our diagnostic laboratory team. In this role, you will perform a range of routine laboratory functions including specimen reception, processing of diagnostic tests (both automated and manual), dispatch of specimens, and handling of blood and blood products. You will also support laboratory operations by maintaining supplies, undertaking preliminary evaluation of results, and performing data processing associated with diagnostic investigations. Working independently or as part of a collaborative team, you will apply your technical skills, expertise, and experience to support the delivery of high-quality laboratory services. You will be involved in both routine diagnostic activities and technical project work, utilising your applied knowledge and practical skills to meet service demands and contribute to continual improvement initiatives within the laboratory environment. About You You are a technically skilled and enthusiastic laboratory professional, committed to delivering accurate diagnostic services and contributing to a collaborative team environment. You have proven experience and competence in diagnostic laboratory techniques, preferably within Immunology, with additional skills in tissue culture. You demonstrate strong teamwork skills, thriving in collaborative laboratory environments while maintaining a high standard of precision and efficiency in your work. You possess solid knowledge of Immunology principles, supported by practical experience in laboratory investigations and technical processes. You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and laboratory computer systems, ensuring accurate data handling and reporting in a busy diagnostic setting.
