Austcorp Executive are partnering with a leading Australian owned bulk haulage and mining services company. On the back of their continued success throughout WA the team are looking to recruit an Operations Manager for their Port Hedland Branch. This person will be reporting into the Area Operations Manager. This person will be responsible for the management of pit to port haulage operations for one of the companies Tier 1 contracts. This role is a full time position and would require the candidate to be based in Port Hedland (Relocation Packages offered). The Role Manage the day-to-day operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and driver coordination Work with the Maintenance Manager to ensure that the fleet of road trains and heavy transport equipment are operational and compliant Ensure compliance with NHVR regulations, fatigue management, and safety procedures Monitor and improve operational efficiency, costs, and delivery timeframes Ensuring full compliance with Transport, Chain of responsibility and WHS legislation requirements Skills and experience 3 Years experience in an Operations Manager / Supervisor role in the Transport, Haulage, Mining Services industry Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle Compliance, chain of responsibilities and fatigue laws (Highly Regarded) High-level organisational and problem solving skills Experience with bulk haulage operations in the Pilbara ( Highly Regarded) Whats in it for you?
