As a Carer Lead, you’ll play a critical role in: Supporting our extraordinary carers to deliver outstanding, compassionate care. Conducting in-field audits and mentoring staff to maintain the highest care standards. Monitoring and improving performance , giving timely and constructive feedback. Engaging with our workforce , checking in regularly, hosting carer events and building a connected, valued team. Managing admin and compliance , including rostering, fatigue management and leave approvals. Identifying recruitment needs and working closely with our Talent Team on workforce planning and onboarding. This is a hands-on, people-first leadership role that will see you splitting your time between supporting staff in the field and driving performance and quality. ABOUT YOU A background in community care, aged care or disability support Strong leadership experience, ideally in a service-based or client-facing setting A natural coach with a knack for building trust and helping others grow Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills Tech-savvy with experience using care systems or rostering tools An understanding of the safety and compliance needs in home-based care Desirable Qualifications: Cert III in Aged Care / HACC / Disability / Individual Support Current driver’s licence, registered and insured vehicle Previous experience leading Care Staff or similar teams WHATS IN IT FOR YOU: We’re proud to share that Prestige Inhome Care has been recognised as one of AFR BOSS Best Places to Work for the second year running!
