We are seeking an experienced and motivated Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join our firm. This role offers the opportunity to come on board and take ownership of your own client portfolio. You will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements (including special purpose financial statements), income tax returns, BASs, IASs, and assisting with strategic tax advisory for a variety of clients including HNW individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with your clients, acting as their primary point of contact. Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related field. CA or CPA qualified (or currently completing studies) Minimum 3 years’ experience in public practice accounting, preferably within a boutique or mid-tier firm. Strong knowledge of Australian taxation law and accounting standards. Experience with accounting software such as Xero, XPM and MYOB. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to build client relationships. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
