We want you to be a part of a team that is making a difference by providing strategic financial, budget and accounting advisory services to the department’s Executive Management Team and the broader department. The branch is responsible for the delivery of the annual consolidated budget cycle; the end of financial year consolidated financial statements; finance operations and systems support; together with the provision of strategic financial management advice and services to the business areas within the department.
As a Senior Finance Officer, you will contribute to the Budget Management team by promoting best practice financial accounting practices and provide quality financial advice and analysis to the department. You will contribute to the achievement and enhancement of the department's outcomes through improved partnering with business clients especially in relation to budget and resource management, the provision of best practice service, systems and policies, and professional analysis and advice.
