Position Summary As an Intermediate Consulting Accountant at AAG, you’ll be a key member of our Consulting Team, helping deliver high-quality advice and tailored solutions to our clients. Reporting to the Manager of Business / Tax Advisor, your role is crucial in ensuring compliance, supporting business growth, and assisting with a wide range of advisory projects. Position Responsibilities Liaise with ATO, ACNC and regulatory bodies regarding tax debts, audits, registrations, etc. Support clients to meet GST, PAYG, STP, Payroll Tax, and Super Guarantee obligations. Prepare business valuations, bank covenants, R&D applications, and financial analysis reports. Assist with consulting projects: retirement advice, tax planning, aged care advice, and more. Use platforms like Xero, MYOB, BGL, QuickBooks, and DEXT to support client reporting. Support financial decision-making through forecasting and cashflow analysis. Maintain corporate structures, draft loan agreements, and prepare various reports. Collaborate with internal teams, schedule Director meetings, and update Xero Practice Manager.
