DIRECTOR OF PRE CONSTRUCTION
Store Space Self Storage is looking to hire an experienced project manager and team leader to join us in
Winter Garden, FL, as the
Director of Pre-Construction.
This position earns an annual
salary between $85,000 - $100,000 based on experience and is
bonus eligible. We provide excellent

A DAY IN THE LIFE
The Director of Pre-Construction will lead the entitlements process for commercial real estate properties by supervising a team of development and pre-construction managers to complete projects.. You will oversee all construction activities and provide timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders, as well as departmental leadership.

Qualifications For a Senior Director Of Construction
- 5-7 years of experience in entitlements, development, and pre-construction
- 3+ years of experience with direct leadership of a construction team
- Experience with managing teams working on multiple projects
- Expert in contracts, RFPs, and developing scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Expert in pay applications, lien waivers, and all other necessary contract documentation
- Experience with project management software (Procore preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience with multiple commercial classes is preferred but not required. You should be organized, resourceful, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about building effective teams. Internal and external relationship building, as well as adaptability to frequently changing situations, are also key behaviors needed to be successful in this role.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position is
full-time and
on-site daily. Our typical office hours are between
9:00 am - 5:00pm, but schedule flexibility is required as needed.
