Due to ongoing growth and continuous improvement initiatives, they are seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join their finance team based in the South Eastern Suburbs and contribute to enhancing the business’s financial operations. Key Responsibilities Lead accounts payable and receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness. Support the month-end cycle, ensuring tasks are completed within 6 days of month-end close. Manage general ledger reconciliations, journal entries (including payroll and accruals), and balance sheet reporting. Improve fixed asset accounting and oversee intercompany transactions. Continuously review and improve transactional processes and systems for efficiency and automation. Prepare weekly sales and profit reporting and assist with ad hoc financial reports.
