As a trusted finance partner, you’ll work side-by-side with business stakeholders to help them understand their financial performance and stay on track with budgets. Key responsibilities include: Building strong partnerships with stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service and high-quality outcomes Preparing and advising on monthly financial reports and ad hoc reporting as required Interpreting and analysing financial data to provide valuable insights and performance advice Supporting and quality-assuring the development of group budgets and forecasts The Ideal Person You will be an astute Management Accountant with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate the ‘grey’ areas currently working in federal government or consulting to the federal government. You enjoy providing meaningful insights and analysis to business areas which will help facilitate better decisions for the organisation. Proactive by nature, you ask the right questions, anticipate the needs of your stakeholders, and bring clarity through your analysis. Your ability to communicate financial information in a clear and engaging way makes you a trusted advisor - especially when working with non-financial stakeholders. Relevant degree qualifications with a CA/CPA or strong progress towards will be highly regarded. Only Australian citizens will be considered for this role as an AGSVA baseline clearance will be required.
