The Role The purpose of the Senior Financial Accountant role is to ensure accurate and timely accounting and reconciliation of transactions in the Pepper Money Limited business. The role will also contribute to the financial control team’s external reporting responsibilities. Financial Control : Ownership of all accounting, reporting and reconciliation requirements of assigned sections of Pepper’s corporate and trust entities. External Reporting : Assist in the preparation of financial statements for Pepper Money Limited’s corporate entities and trust entities, drafting accounting memos, and taking on more technical/complex disclosures. Financial Audit : Support the coordination and management of external (financial statements, AFSL, APRA) and internal audit processes. Review : Reviewing balance sheet account reconciliation by junior team members, providing guidance and support. About you We’re looking for someone who has experience in a listed environment with strong attention to detail and relevant accounting and reporting capabilities within Financial Services. Here’s what we’re looking for: Accurate and detailed: Able to provide accurate and timely monthly accounting and reporting and also keep detailed documentation where required. Results Driven: Strong communication skills that support the needs of the team, drive development and as a result meet business objectives, timelines and KPI’s. Stakeholder management: Able to provide consistent and timely communication around updates of FA team processes and other projects.
