The Opportunity Our client is offering multiple 12-month non-ongoing contracts with the potential for extension, as these are vacant positions. Join a dynamic and collaborative team as a Management Accountant and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making. The Role Key responsibilities include: Providing financial support and contributing to the review of government submissions, including financial tables in Cabinet and Ministerial documents Reviewing costings, challenging assumptions when necessary, preparing budgets, forecasting, and monitoring and reporting on financial performance in line with organisational objectives Conducting objective and systematic analysis to draw accurate, evidence-based conclusions Building effective working relationships with key stakeholders The Ideal Person We’re seeking experienced Management Accountants or Finance Business Partners with good attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities. You will hold relevant qualifications in accounting or finance and possess strong communication skills. Government experience, particularly with the Commonwealth Financial Framework, is highly desirable. Familiarity with SAP, TM1, or similar financial tools is an advantage. You may come from one of the following backgrounds: Experience in a Big 4 or other consulting firm working with Federal Government clients APS6-level experience as a Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner, with solid tenure and an interest in a new departmental environment A high-performing APS5 with extensive acting experience at APS6 level, seeking career progression An experienced Management Accountant from a large commercial or not-for-profit organisation Salary / Rate $93k - $108k 15.4% Super How to Apply To apply online, please click on the appropriate link.
