The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the corporate team. The corporate team is responsible for Molonglo’s finance, legal, and investment functions. Key responsibilities include: Managing end-to-end accounts payable across multiple entities Performing daily bank reconciliations and supporting accounts receivable Monitoring invoice approvals and ensuring timely payments Preparing and uploading weekly payment runs Assisting with BAS, month-end and year-end reconciliations and workpapers The Ideal Person This opportunity is open to a range of backgrounds, including current accounting students and recent graduates with a strong academic record, early-career accountants with 1–2 years of experience, as well as those with 3–5 years in a similar finance role. Importantly, you’re a passionate accounting professional who thrives in a close-knit, hardworking finance team. Known to be highly organised and detail-focused, you have a calm, dependable nature and have a strong ability to deliver accurate outcomes, even when things get busy. You’re also eager to learn and grow under the guidance of an experienced and committed Finance Manager, making the most of the support around you to develop your skills and career in a meaningful way. Previous experience in a similar role, and experience using Google Suite and Xero, will be highly regarded.
