The organisation is currently seeking a skilled Group Accountant to join its finance team on a full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting audit processes, and stakeholder management. About the role: Lead and support the preparation and review of financial statements. Support month-end and year-end close processes, including audit preparation and responding to external auditor queries. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial data for decision-making. Contribute to the development and documentation of financial processes and controls. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and service delivery. About you: CA or CPA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar finance role. Strong understanding of statutory reporting, shared services, and financial governance in large, complex organisations will be advantageous. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Microsoft D365, and Power BI is desirable. Proven ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and manage competing priorities. Experience in financial modelling, audit preparation, and process transformation will be highly regarded.
