The Opportunity You will be working in a median-sized team and will be exposed to exciting new projects and the administration of a Financial Management Information System (FMIS). The team fosters an environment where they invest time in teaching people with a strong interest and aptitude for systems. Theses roles are at the APS6 and EL1 level, which offer as a non-ongoing 12 months contract with possibility for extension or go permanent. The Role Reporting to the Systems Accounting Team Leader, your duties will include but are not limited to: Assisting with system administration services utilizing the FMIS Providing TechnologyOne end-user support, maintenance, and monitoring services Managing user access policies and requests across multiple agencies (as a provider of shared services arrangements) Coordinating activities to maintain system currency, ensuring upgrades/releases are tested and deployed in a planned and timely manner to maximize system performance capability and database capacity Identifying and promoting opportunities to drive business process efficiency improvements and risk reduction Maintaining strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Developing TechnologyOne, including new modules, interfacing with other systems, dashboards, import functionality, and automated workflow processes The Ideal Person This role would suit a systems accountant with strong FMIS knowledge of TechnologyOne in an APS setting. You enjoy customer service and have a keen interest in making systems work for users. You will be known as a problem solver and a sounding board for out-of-the-box solutions. An inquisitive nature paired with excellent interpersonal skills is a must, as you will be leading a team and interacting daily with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
