Job Summary
The Custodial Inspector performs journey-level custodial inspection work with a focus on leveraging technology and fostering innovation. This role involves conducting inspections, quality assurance reviews, and maintaining strong vendor relationships to ensure compliance with contracts, regulations, and agency policies. The ideal candidate will be highly autonomous, proficient in Microsoft Teams and Excel, and possess strong problem-solving skills. This position works under moderate supervision, with room for initiative and independent judgment.

duties
Building Inspections And Quality Assurance
Conduct custodial inspections to ensure contract compliance and adherence to cleanliness and safety standards.
Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance service quality.
Prepare reports and maintain inspection records
Administrative
Utilize Microsoft Teams and Excel for inspections, reporting, and collaboration.
Submit, certify, and review personal timecards in the state time management system.
Submit and close work orders in the state work order system.
Analyze inspection data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Vendor Oversight
Maintain as needed communication with janitorial contractors and vendors for quality assurance.
Ensure vendor compliance with contracts, agency policies, and industry best practices.
Address performance issues with management and work with vendors to correct deficiencies.
Program Management
Monitor custodial services and address operational challenges proactively.
Coordinate with property managers and vendors to resolve service issues.
Develop innovative solutions to optimize custodial processes and resource allocation.
General Duties And Safety Management
Safely operate state-owned vehicle and obey traffic rules and regulations of the road.
Use state vehicle telematics app daily to report damage, maintenance, and other related vehicle issues.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, cleaning techniques, and infection control procedures.
