Warehouse Operator

Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies
Verify quantities, part numbers, and product descriptions against purchase orders and packing slips
Accurately record received items in the inventory management system (e.g., WMS, ERP)
Label and store goods in designated warehouse locations following safety and organizational standards
Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods to supervisors or procurement teams
Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently (certification may be required)
Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly receiving area
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments
Follow company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and warehouse procedures at all times
Perform periodic cycle counts and support inventory audits as needed

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; warehouse or logistics experience preferred
Prior experience in a warehouse receiving role is a plus
Basic computer skills (data entry, inventory software, email)
Ability to operate forklifts/pallet jacks (certification preferred but training may be provided)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments
Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to [X] lbs) and stand for extended periods
Good communication skills and teamwork mentality
Knowledge of safety
