General Experience:

Closely work with clients, owners, safety managers, field personnel, estimators, project managers, and all others involved in projects.
The ability to complete AutoCAD installation drawing packages for our field team.
Produce project billings, budgets, and POs.
Process change orders and related project administrative documentation.
Complete accurate submittals.
Prepare and review operations and maintenance manuals.
Prepare logical and sequential project schedules utilizing P6 Primavera software.
Team leader, mentor, and motivator. Good communication skills are a must.
Experience with concrete forming systems such as hand-set forms, gang forms, round and square structures, foundations, walls, slabs, columns, sidewalks, elevated decks, and more.
Ability to read, interpret, and communicate the project requirements according to the contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
Represent the company in a professional manner.
Work from the Walters-Morgan Construction, Inc. Headquarters in Manhattan, KS and make job site visits as needed.
Successful builds between $250K and $50M.

The Water/Wastewater Project Manager is a salaried position with starting salaries competitive and commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the applicant.
Water/Wastewater Project Managers are also provided a company vehicle for business use.

General Requirements:

A 4-year degree in a construction related field is preferred.
8-10 years of related heavy civil construction experience is required, water/wastewater experience preferred.
Provide accurate reporting to Management regarding the status of the work and any delays that are foreseen or that have been experienced.
Maintain accurate contract documents such as red-lines, RFI’s, and change orders throughout the project as necessary.
Coordination with crew and Subcontractors to ensure project delivery within given schedule.
Monitoring and enforcement of company safety policies and procedures.
Ensure the use of sound construction practices to attain the required level of quality control.
May oversee the work of lower-level Superintendents and other responsibilities associated with this position as required.
Bilingual a plus.
