Keville Enterprises, Inc., an established construction management and inspection firm, is seeking an entry level civil construction inspector with one to five years of experience to join our team, supporting critical infrastructure projects in the NY/NJ region. This role will focus on civil and underground construction inspection-including excavation, structural concrete, site utilities, soft ground tunneling, concrete placement and tunnel related civil works. Previous experience on rail/transit mega projects is preferred. This is a full-time field-based position which may require night and/or weekend shifts or extended hours based on the construction schedule. Travel within the NY/NJ Project corridor may be required.

Qualifications:
The entry level construction inspector will have one to five years of experience in civil/structural inspection, preferably in heavy civil or rail/transit infrastructure which includes tunneling or underground structure inspection.
The inspector must have a minimum of a High School Diploma, One to five years of experience in civil construction inspection, familiarity with geotechnical instrumentation, waterproofing systems and segmental lining. Required certifications include: NICET Certifications in Civil Construction (or equivalent), ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician, Confined Space Training (will train). OSHA 30 Construction Safety Certification (will train).
Must also be able to demonstrate: proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents and certifications, have strong Knowledge of construction practices, codes and safety regulations (OSHA,FRA, DOT), the ability to work outdoors in active construction sites for extended periods. Have experience on large-scale rail projects (AMtrak, New Jersey Transit, or MTA), prior work on tunnel, bridge or trackbed construction is a plus, and proficiency in MS Office and Inspection/reporting software.
An Associates Degree in Construction Technology or a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
