Ingui Architecture is seeking a Junior Architect with 1-2 years experience. You will be working directly with a firm Principal where project management skills are a must. Architectural office proficiency in AutoCAD and Rhino (modeling and rendering) are mandatory. Candidate should have familiarity with REVIT and Adobe Suite, understanding of high-performance design and construction, good hand sketching, enthusiasm to collaborate with diverse teams working on a variety of projects including:
- Primarily alterations/restoration/renovations/additions to 19th century townhomes.
- Small commercial and office alterations/renovations.
- Religious and educational alterations/renovations.
- Apartment alteration/renovations.
- New residential dwellings.
Projects are primarily located in NYC, with some projects occasionally in the Hamptons, Fire Island, and the surrounding tri-state area.
Further responsibilities include design, presentation, document production, and project management tasks. Since interaction with clients, General Contractors, and consultants will be necessary, from time to time, communication skills and initiative are of utmost importance. The position allows for opportunity for growth within the company.
Ingui Architecture is a 23-person firm established in 1977. Compensation will range from $70,000-$80,000; this will be commensurate with experience and performance.
