The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join our dedicated maintenance team. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for keeping our plant, equipment, and facilities operating at peak performance while ensuring strict food safety and Quality Assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and repair all plant machinery, processing equipment, and facilities to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Install and commission new plant, equipment, and facilities to support ongoing growth and innovation.
Carry out preventative and routine maintenance to minimise downtime.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults quickly and effectively.
Ensure compliance with food safety requirements and Quality Assurance standards.

What We’re Looking For

Trade-qualified Fitter (Certificate III in Mechanical Trade or equivalent).
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills; able to make decisions on the move.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks unsupervised.
Welding (MIG, TIG, stick) and machining experience desirable but not essential.
Previous experience in the food industry is highly regarded but not required.
High-level communication and organisational skills.
Flexible to work full-time roster hours, including rotating weekend shifts.
