KingKira is expanding our maintenance workforce across Tier 1 mining operations in the Pilbara. We are seeking experienced HD Fitters who take pride in safe, high‑quality work and want to be part of a supportive, culturally safe team.

THE ROLE

Carry out workshop and field maintenance on heavy mobile mining equipment
Respond to breakdowns and complete component change‑outs
Follow service schedules and work closely with maintenance planners and supervisors
Maintain strong safety, efficiency, and quality standards
FIFO from Perth on a 2:2 roster

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience with breakdowns, fault finding, and component change‑outs
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Heavy Diesel Fitter
Dual qualified as Mech Fitter highly desirable
Experience with Heavy Mobile Equipment
Australian recognised Trade Certificate – Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
Valid Australian Manual C Class Licence, HR Licence highly desirable
Ability to pass pre‑employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliable work practices
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for this position
