Greet and welcome students and teachers to the P.A.R.T.Y Program Provide support and reassurance to students attending the program if distressed from what they may encounter Guide and escort students to the bathroom and observe students closely for signs of distress/uneasiness/faintness Keep schedules on time by escorting groups to various locations in the facility and keep the groups together Working cooperatively with hospital staff to ensure the non-clinical and support needs of students are met Prepare and assist with the set up and pack up of morning tea and other requirements throughout the day Understand and adhere to strict patient and student confidentiality policies Report any issues or obstacles to the P.A.R.T.Y. Coordinator Train, shadow and mentor new volunteers to the service to assist in their knowledge and skills to ensure they are encouraged and confident with this role Share and review any feedback and information from how the day went including perusal of student questionnaires Special requirements: Have the physical ability to undertake the duties in a safe manner Complete a clear and current criminal screening check Comply with Work Health & Safety and Infection Control requirements Comply with current SA Health Immunisation guidelines.
