Business is looking for a full-time skilled and reliable Electrician to join their team. Business is situated in Gregory Hills. The role involves working across various locations, with a strong focus on effective quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, connect, test, and commission solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, and battery storage systems in compliance with Australian Standards.

Conduct site inspections and assessments to determine electrical requirements and system suitability.

Carry out wiring, cabling, and switchboard modifications required for solar and battery integration.

Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, workplace safety, and local distribution network provider rules and complete all required compliance documentation.

Test and verify correct operation of solar systems, including voltage/current checks, polarity, insulation resistance, and earthing.

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in solar panels, inverters, and battery storage systems.

Perform preventive maintenance and servicing of installed systems.

Liaise with customers to explain system functionality, safe operation, and maintenance requirements.

Follow Work Health & Safety practices, including working at heights and handling live electrical systems safely.

Keep updated with latest solar and battery technologies and regulatory changes.

Provide supervision to apprentices, trades assistants, or trainees.

Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are used safely and maintained properly.

Experience and other requirements:

· Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.

· Ability to work both unsupervised and in a team.

Salary Package: $76,000 - $82,000 per annum Plus Superannuation.

Qualifications:

· Certification III or higher in electrical technology.

· Three years of experience can substitute for formal qualifications.

Other Skills

· Proven experience as an Electrician.

· Knowledge of Solar and battery systems

· Ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environment

· Strong knowledge of standards, regulations, and good industry practices.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as a good team member.

· Full accreditation in grid connected PV systems and grid connected battery systems.

· Electrician license

· Working safely and heights competency

· General construction induction ( white ) card
