RISE8 Development is seeking a Director of Construction to manage and complete Company projects with our in-house workforce and third parties primarily renovating and maintaining the Stayable brand of extended-stay hotels owned by our affiliate. Prepare, plan, and supervise day-to-day total construction activities in accordance with project specifications, documents, and schedule. This includes interfacing with the design team members, ownership, the project team, company employees, local authorities, and utility providers. Prepare, plan, and supervise all project related issues including, but not limited to, manpower scheduling, technical assistance to company employee's and subcontractors, project document interpretation, construction means, methods and equipment. Manage changes in project scope and ensure that these changes have been communicated appropriately. Oversee and supervise both company-owned and rental equipment maintenance schedules to ensure safe, proper operating of all site equipment. Prepare, plan, and supervise daily material deliveries to ensure all company employees and subcontractors are working as efficiently as possible. Participate in final walk through with client and manages the punch list to assure timely completion. Superintendents strive for "all hands" work mentality; project pending Superintendent may work directly in construction activities. Additional tasks as necessary and/or assigned. Skills Required:

Required

Construction management degree a plus. Must speak Spanish. Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a superintendent in construction industry. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail, and other software used in the construction industry. Travel in-state required. Must have clean driving record. What we offer you in return:
