Territory Palliative Care provides palliative care services to the entire Top End, including both rural/remote and urban areas. Your role will be split between the three facets of our service: the Royal Darwin Hospital inpatient consultation service, the Hospice our inpatient Palliative Care unit, and our community service. The case mix is diverse and unique with 40% of referrals being Indigenous patients and 40% coming from rural/remote communities. The ratio of malignant to non-malignant cases is approximately 65:35.
