About the Role As a Casual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring our pharmacy is presented to the highest standard. Working closely with the Retail Manager and pharmacy team, you will maintain attractive displays, replenish stock, implement promotional activity, and ensure the store remains clean, organised, and easy for customers to shop. This role requires someone who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality merchandising standards. Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Replenishing shelves and maintaining stock availability throughout the store. Creating and maintaining attractive product displays and promotional areas. Implementing planograms and merchandising layouts. Receiving, unpacking, and processing stock deliveries. Rotating stock using FIFO principles and monitoring expiry dates. Ensuring products are correctly priced and promotional ticketing is accurate. Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised retail environment. Assisting with stocktakes and inventory control. Identifying merchandising opportunities to improve product presentation and sales. Working collaboratively with the pharmacy and retail team to support daily operations. Providing friendly customer service and directing pharmacy enquiries to the appropriate team members. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous merchandising experience in a pharmacy, supermarket, grocery, health and beauty, or retail environment. A strong understanding of merchandising principles and stock presentation. Experience implementing planograms and promotional displays. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively. Strong communication and customer service skills. A positive attitude, reliability, and a proactive approach to your work. The ability to undertake manual handling tasks, including lifting stock and standing for extended periods. Flexibility to work a variety of casual shifts, including weekdays and occasional weekends.
