Duties may include: • Personal care • Community access and social participation • Domestic assistance • Medication assistance (where trained) • Supporting participants to achieve their individual goals • Implementing behaviour support strategies where required • Building positive, meaningful relationships with participants What We're Looking For To be successful, you will have: • A genuine passion for supporting others • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • A reliable, compassionate and professional approach • Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) • Working with Children Check where required (or willingness to obtain) • Willingness to complete mandatory training • Good availability and reliability Highly Regarded The following experience or qualifications are highly desirable: • Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours or high support needs • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or a related field • Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioural Science, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or another human services discipline • Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans We also have a limited number of specialist support opportunities available for applicants with advanced experience or relevant tertiary qualifications.
