The team includes occupational therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists and support staff, with services delivered across clinic and community settings. The business is expanding due to increased referral flow and participant demand. The current team includes 4 psychologists, 2 occupational therapists and 6 psychiatrists, with services supporting participants with psychosocial disability and physical disability. This role sits within a small team where therapists manage their own schedules while having access to support for complex cases. The company is continuing to grow its allied health services, with future expansion planned into additional WA hubs, including north of the river. For an Occupational Therapist, this is an opportunity to build an NDIS caseload, work across different environments and contribute to participant outcomes through assessment, therapy, documentation and practical recommendations. About the opportunity This role will see you provide occupational therapy services to NDIS participants aged 8 years and older across clinic, home, school, workplace and community settings. In this role, you will: Deliver occupational therapy services that support participant goals Complete functional capacity assessments and related reports Manage a caseload across appointments, therapy and administration Prepare end-of-plan and end-of-year reports for NDIS purposes Provide recommendations for home modifications and accessibility supports You will manage your own calendar across clinic and community appointments, with a typical balance of participant-facing work and documentation. Duties may include assessment, intervention planning, ongoing therapy, report writing, clinical notes, funding-related documentation and recommendations for supports such as handrails, shower chairs and related equipment. As a dynamic role, this opportunity suits someone seeking a 3 to 5 year pathway where the role can grow with the organisation. Experienced Occupational Therapists may also have scope to mentor graduates as the allied health team expands. About you You may be a graduate Occupational Therapist, an experienced Occupational Therapist, or an allied health professional from aged care who wants to move into the NDIS sector. You will be comfortable building rapport with participants, families, carers, schools and other stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist A current driver’s licence for community-based appointments The ability to manage a caseload across appointments and reporting Attention to detail in reports, clinical notes and recommendations An interest in psychosocial disability and physical disability supports The ability to maintain confidentiality, participant safety and dignity NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check You will also be able to work with KPOs relating to client satisfaction, time management and documentation accuracy. What’s on offer This opportunity offers autonomy in how you manage your week, with clinic hours generally operating from 9 am to 5 pm and flexibility based on workload. You will work across Cockburn Central, Mandurah and community settings, with mileage paid for community visits. The role includes mentoring and shadowing support, including NDIS report-writing guidance for those new to the sector. You will join a team with occupational therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists and support staff, with access to input for complex cases. The work provides direct participant contact, ongoing therapy relationships and involvement in assessments that support funding, independence and daily living. For experienced Occupational Therapists, there may be scope to mentor graduates as the service grows.
